Basildon University Hospitals Trust Registered Charity No. 1049424 Basildon Maternity Unit Trust Fund The 'Forget-me-not' Suite is situated in the Maternity Unit at Basildon Hospital, just outside of the Labour ward and is a comfortable suite where families who have lost their baby can be cared for in a safe and yet homely environment.

 In their time of grief and sadness they comment time and time again how helpful this is for them, to be away from others giving birth to live healthy babies and yet receiving specialised care at the same time.

 In UK, 17 babies a day are stillborn or die within the first twenty eight days of life; a devastating bereavement for the parents and for their family and friends. Please help to fund this precious room.
